As predicted, watched, and analyzed for over six years now, Successclick™ and its members have been discussing the massive emergence of “Future Trend Domains™”. From helping to set a Domain Industry blog comment record on Michael Berken’s THEDOMAINS.COM article regarding 3D domains, to selling hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of domains since then that most people wouldn’t understand, right now the edge is sharpening for those domainers who looked into the future instead of the past. (We count in Berkens as one of the few old-timers who “get it”. Good on ya, Embee.)
According to the BusinessInsider.com, there are Google techs beginning to appear in places wearing the special “internet glasses” that Google has been working on for several years now. Project Glass designer Isabelle Olsson stated at the Google I/O Conference this year that only a “handful” of Google techs would be wearing them at this time. If that’s the case, then this guy (later identified as Steve Lee, Project Management leader for Google+) spotted on Caltrans is a lucky dude.
But, look beyond that. A reporter at BusinessInsider.com was “savvy” enough to know what to look for in the first place to take his picture wearing the “net glasses.” This tells you something about the business news world and where their own eyeballs are looking — straight ahead to the future. However, some commenters claim that it was a “setup”. We tend to disregard that, because Google would use a more influential net news site than BusinessInsider.com if they wanted a “media setup”. Either way, another writer in the business world has “got it”.
What’s this mean for domainers who invest in Future Trend Domains? We don’t really know for sure, it’s in the future, stupid!
All kidding aside, so many amazing technologies are emerging, they are creating a whole new world of domain possibilities for those who understand the process.
It just brings me back to the headline and final comment on the most popular blog article in history, written by our friend, Michael Berkens two years ago: “The Next BIG Thing Is 3D: Who Owns Best Domains? (Hint: Its not Me, Frank, Kevin Or Even Rick )”
And Berkens signs off on his blog with his always classy, always appreciated style: “Congrats boys, you own part of the future and you all kicked my ass.“
Not sure sure about the “asskicking”, but this year’s T-DOT-R-DOT-A-DOT-F-DOT-F-DOT-I-DOT-C-DOT Conference “Domain Industry Awards” has never given credit to this obvious juggernaut of attention regarding who started and continually promoted the ground-breaking domain investing opportunities of investing in Future Trend Domains.
Just remember what happened to typewriter companies.
Thanks for the support from all the FT domainers! Hold on… it’s coming.
