WHY WHYPARK.COM? PRAYERS ANSWERED FOR DOMAINERS

September 3rd, 2008 Posted in General Domain News

whyparkI want to extend a heartfelt thanks to all my domain industry friends who congratulated me on my new position as Vice President of Business Development at WhyPark.com. I appreciate the support and the kind words. I’m going to explain why I decided to join Whypark, even though my consulting services through Successclick have kept me very busy.

First reason for coming onboard Whypark.com: The future of the domain industry. Whypark is now providing solutions for domainers who want results from low-performing domain names that have been using traditional PPC revenue. The best part of getting the felicitations is that some of the biggest domainers in our industry also signed up at Whypark.com to enhance the value of their “deadwood” domains (domains that have branding value but don’t get good typein traffic at traditional parking services).

The reason for this is very clear to expert domainers aware of monetization trends, and in the coming months it will become extremely clear to all domain investors:

WHYPARK CREATES A LIVING WEBSITE WITH FRESH CONTENT ON YOUR DOMAIN FOR ONLY PENNIES

There are a multitude of benefits from parking a domain name at Whypark that is getting no traffic at a traditional parking service.

We will be releasing our “Bullet Points of Benefits” in the coming weeks, but I’ll give you a taste of a few of the most powerful reasons to point your domains at Whypark.com right now, and hence, why I joined this innovative and powerful parking/development company:

1) Ever wonder if your domain name gets indexed on major search engines when you’re parking it for PPC revenue? Don’t wonder, it doesn’t. Most PPC revenue domainers understand this, and bypass this important evolution of their domains if their domains are receiving “renewal income (RI)” or more from PPC. (Renewal income means what is says — making enough money for the domain to pay for its renewal yearly). However, most domainers, myself included, only make RI on 10 - 20% of their domains. That leaves a whopping 80% + of most domain portfolios languishing in PPC limbo, begging their owners to build them out to get search engine traffic and some revenue. Whypark takes these domains and breathes life into them.

2) Keep all your revenue payouts? Huge benefit. All of us domain investors want to build our favorite non-traffic domains into working websites. For years, we’ve talked about it, hoping that some of the other excellent domain-building sites would “accept” our domains (but they won’t unless your domains get truckloads of traffic). However, Whypark will take your domain and zap it into a high-content website, ready for search engine traffic, and when you get that traffic, you can direct it to your own adfeeds and affiliate links. That’s right, you can provide the type of monetization you want on your domains, and then keep all the revenue you make from that domain. Getting tingly? I understand.

Even more amazing, Whypark’s Standard service price (100 domains minimum) is only 99¢ a domain. WHAT? Less than a dollar to put original, updated daily, relevant content on your domain’s landing page? Yes, and if you want to push the content envelope and put your domain into its top relevant search engine results, you can go with Whypark’s Premium services and for only dollars a day, command a very visible and complete website bubbling with content and prodserv monetization sources to your heart’s content.

I joined Whypark because of these and many more great services they provide for the domainer with domains that aren’t performing well on traditional parking services. Beyond that, I also joined a company with a brilliant president, Craig Rowe, who is a visionary and honest businessman, which is a dream come true for me. No further comment.

Without any obligations expected, I welcome my clients and readers to contact me for more information on Whypark and why it will quickly make you smile every time you check up on your domains’ performance.

I have been thinking about using WhyPark.com for a while. But I wasn’t clear on whether the system is able to create search-engine-friendly pages, nor whether the sites are submitted to Google, et al., on our behalf for indexing. Another question I have regards language support. We have some Spanish .com domains that get type-in traffic, and I’m sure they would get more organic traffic if I could get them indexed. Any info you could provide in addition to what you wrote in your post and what’s available in the WhyPark tour would be greatly appreciated.

    Best regards,

Can you share some example of WhyPark domains that are currently ranked in the top 5 results in Google for specific keywords - maybe even the sample sites you have listed on the WhyPark page? I did some searching on Google for sentences from articles on the sample sites, and the WhyPark site was listed in the omitted results section. For example, search Google for this sentence from Shufflemate.com: ” Customer rewards programs are not new in the world of online marketing and advertising. What is new is the growing number of companies who offer free gifts and prizes to anyone, for nothing more than visiting their websites.”

If someone searches Google for “customer rewards programs” and “free gifts,” a Topix website comes up, not Shufflemate.com. How would a visitor find the site?

Incidentally, I think the layouts are pretty good and encourage clicking on the sponsored ads.

    XXXXXX Stephen Douglas Responds:

Thanks for your comments. WhyPark will be displaying a “comparison” page with the type of results you can get as examples when the new feature launch comes in a month or so. These are all good questions and a lot of interested parties are asking them. The best thing I can offer you, for your own tests, is a free buildout on any domain you want us to work on. So pick a domain in your portfolio that doesn’t get good typein traffic, but is somewhat generic, and get in contact with me or Craig (at) whypark.com. We will provide a free test on one domain for 30 days for anyone interested in getting a taste of what WhyPark can do for you.

    Hi,

Interesting post. I’ve already purchased 100 site package from Whypark - looking forward to better features and designs coming up.

How do i contact you about your domain brokerage service?

    Thanks,
    James

    XXXXXX Stephen Douglas Responds:

Hi James, you can contact me directly at successclick (at) gmail. com. There will be a new feature set launched soon, so a lot of your suggestions will be answered. We look forward to getting your domains indexed and receiving search engine traffic revenue soon!

Stephen — Congrats on the new position at WhyPark! I just stumbled onto your site and I’m glad I did. I just listed my first few domains with WhyPark last week. I love the concept and hope to add additional domains soon, depending on how the first few perform.

I’ve concentrated on buying domain with good development potential. Long term, I think that’s good, but in the short term, the domains just don’t work well for parking. I’m very hopeful that I see a jump in revenue with WhyPark as compared to parking.

Keep up the good work. I’ll keep an eye on your blog.

    XXXXXX - Stephen Douglas Responds:

Thanks Lou! Glad to see you testing out the WhyPark system. You’ll be happy to know even more features are coming soon. You should tweak your keywords to cover all varieties of phrasing in order to get the obscure article feed on each domain. After a month, please come back and let me know how you’re doing, or contact the WhyPark customer service directly. Welcome aboard! Make some money from that deadwood!

    Stephen,

Congratulations on the job! Being a full-time domiainer, and a developer my company has been developing out some of our domains, it really takes months to create a unique website with SEO built into the applications ( I’m not talking about just content ) I’m talking about services and products that are 100% new and unique. So I can truly appreciate any short cuts to the development process.

What I can’t help but wonder is services like whypark are for the most part scraping content from news sites and wikapedia, how are these any different than the sites that were made in the past that were branded as “made for google Adsense”? And were later banned from google?

    Cheers!

    XXXXXX Stephen Douglas Responds:

    Thanks for the congrats, Joe.

As far as your comments alleging that WhyPark is “scraping content” from new sites and wikipedia”, you’re getting erroneous information. Contact WhyPark’s very capable support team about their content providing services. You’ll be satisfied this isn’t happening. Any adsense accounts banned from google six months ago weren’t the results of WhyPark’s content, and definitely our new content providing systems have been built to enhance your domain’s position with with adsense and other adfeeds/affiliate links you’re using.

Thanks for writing, Joe! And don’t be nervous, try a free tester account and use WhyPark’s adsense feeds just for “security”. The point is, WhyPark wants to make your domains that aren’t making PPC revenue come alive, get traffic, get indexed, and make revenue. Sign up for a free ten domain account and find out for yourself.

Can you speak at all to the duplicate/syndicated content issue? I had about a dozen sites in WhyPark earlier in the year, and every one was de-indexed by Google. Several others I know of actually lost their AdSense accounts. What will WhyPark be doing in the future to prevent this sort of thing?

    XXXXXX Stephen Douglas Responds:

These issues have been addressed and we are actively preparing a list of common questions for our FAQ page to answer these issues. From what I know at this point, Google does what they want as far as placing websites where they want, whenever they want, for whatever unexplained reasons. As I am not the technical director, nor familiar with your account, I can’t answer them here, but please feel free to contact WhyPark.com’s support at Support @(at)Whypark.com.

Hi Stephen! I just heard the news of your new position with WhyPark - congratulations. It makes perfect sense that you would choose to work with a progressive company that’s actually changing the way domain parking works — I remember in our discussions over a year ago when we touched on some of these points.
I for one am fascinated to see what WhyPark is coming up with, in large part because I think the domain community has been waiting for something new for far too long.

    XXXXXX Stephen Douglas Responds:

Hey Joe! Nice to hear from you. Hope all’s well with your domain investments.
Yep, I decided to get a real job and found that WhyPark is everything I’ve been trying to find for my domains in the last 5 years. Craig Rowe is a genius, and dedicated to his customers and his company. Now I finally found a company that does what I wanted for my domains, so not only am I working for WhyPark, but I’m also a huge fan.

Glad you’re going to test WhyPark! Email me directly if you need any assistance. Thanks for your kind words!
